Welcome to DC’s most beautiful time of year as we celebrate the Cherry Blossom Festival. We’ll spend time in the Tidal Basin where we’ll visit the Martin Luther King Memorial, interpret the somber tones of the Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial, and then give you a chance to frame up the lovely Thomas Jefferson Memorial with the graceful overhanging limbs laden with frothy blossoms!
You’ll shoot one of the world’s most spectacular monuments–the Lincoln Memorial, then join the soldiers in the field at the Korean War Veterans Memorial.
We’ll cap off the night just minutes from the traffic and noise of the city, where we’ll visit two of our nation’s most beautiful treasures. At the The Iwo Jima Memorial you’ll want to use your long lens, because from this vantage point you can see the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monuement and the U.S. Capitol all perfectly aligned and glowing in the night. We’ll end the evening at the Air Force Memorial, which is particularly stunning and dramatically lit at night.
