Top Gun Flight Training for Hobbyist Photographers
12:00pm - 07:00pm |
Let your photographic skills take flight with Adobe Photoshop and aerial photography
In this sky high pre-conference event participants will enter a basic training course on flying a DJI Phantom quad-copter that can carry a GoPro 3 camera for aerial photography. If you’ve always wanted to learn how to fly the remote quad-copter and take aerial photography then this is the class for you. With advances in helicopter technology combined with small lightweight cameras, the age of aerial photography is easy to learn, and at reasonable prices. With the help of some expert flight instructors you will learn the basics of flight and some of the techniques for capturing images with the DJI Phantom. Representatives from DJI Innovations and GoPro will also be available for questions, answers and advanced tips and techniques.
After landing the unit safely back on the ground, Russell Brown and his team of experts will discuss some of the best ways to work with your still, and video images from the GoPro cameras. This will be the ultimate Top Gun experience that you will not forget. Remember, there are currently several FAA restrictions on the professional use of unmanned aerial vehicles for professional photography. At this time however, it is totally legal to fly and take photographs as a hobbyist. The full set of regulations for professionals will be published in 2015.
