In exactly one week, Photoshop World will take Orlando by storm for a little March Madness of a different kind…
For three non-stop days, the Orange County Convention Center will be bustling with all the excitement and activity you’d expect from the world’s best photography, lighting and Photoshop training conference.
Whether you’re attending the big show or have to sit on the sidelines this go-round, we don’t want you to miss a single moment! We’ve compiled a stellar team of bloggers to give you complete round-the-clock coverage of all the goings-on at Photoshop World.
Some are seasoned PSW alumni, others are attending for the very first time. Some are graphic designers at heart, others have a passion for photography. But the “Magnificent Seven,” as we’re calling them, are all prepped and ready to share their Photoshop World experiences with you!
For some time now Ed has immersed himself in the unique, wonderful, adventurous world of outdoor and travel digital photography. In order for anyone to get past the casual weekender designation, the Averill Park, New York based photographer knows there’s much to learn, train, try and then make your own. Ed strongly believes the realization of a creative image starts at capture—in your head, heart and eyes, but it can be enhanced by seeking out knowledge and beneficial direction from others and professional development organizations like NAPP and events such as Photoshop World. This is Ed’s second PSW.

March is his favorite month of the year, between Phillies Spring training and Photoshop World! This is Kevin’s second PSW.
Born and raised in Atlanta, Keri has been taking pictures all her life. In 2008 she was encouraged to take her photography to a new level. She was given the opportunity to take pictures of artists making music for a recording studio in Atlanta and it has grown from there. Keri specializes in capturing the essence of people, finding out what they love to do and preserving those images forever. Keri also loves the creative side of photography—taking an ordinary photo and turning it into art. This is Keri’s first PSW.

Having travelled as far as Japan and back he feels most at home behind his Canon. This is Alex’s first PSW.

Dolores’ father was a photographer; her mother was an artist/painter. She’s now living the best of both worlds. This is Dolores’ eighth PSW.
Dan Williams is a self professed computer and comic book nerd who loves anything creative from photography to sculpture to fashion design. He has worked at Walt Disney World for nine years doing creative and design work. As a digital media department chair and educator, Dan has taught many classes focusing on the use of the Adobe Suite Products. Currently, he oversees all aspects of production at Dragon Pulse Entertainment. You might also recognize him as superhero Parthenon, from the SyFy channel’s hit reality TV show “Who Wants To Be A Superhero?”, hosted by Stan Lee. This is Dan’s sixth PSW.
As a former pastor in a main-line denomination for 20 years, Jan primarily came into the artistic arena at mid-life. During her years as a pastor, Jan also worked part-time as a professional photographer. She’s now excited to be spending all of her vocational time and energy in creative pursuits. After spending two years in a graphic design program, it’s now her vision to bring photography, Photoshop and her somewhat off-kilter sense of humor together to see what comes out! Her other interests include animals, music, reading, travel and a nice quiet day at home doing nothing at all. This is Jan’s first PSW.
So make sure to check back often from Tuesday, March 29 – Friday, April 1, 2011 to get a look inside the must-attend photography, lighting and Photoshop training conference!
